A new series of 4-methyl-2-(pyridin-3-yl)-thiazole-5-yl-oxadiazolines were synthesized starting from 4-methyl-2-(pyridin-3-yl)thiazole-5-carbohydrazide. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by analytical 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and mass spectral data. These compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains and one fungal strain (Candida albicans).
