According to the different methods of anaesthesia, study subjects were divided into two groups: experimental (remifentanil + propofol) and control (other methods of anaesthesia). Changes in intraoperative total propofol dose, postoperative eye opening time, extubation time, mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) were compared between the two groups. The chi-square test was used to test the heterogeneity of the included indicators. The results revealed the need to use less propofol during anaesthesia in the experimental group than in the control group. The results show that the combination of remifentanil and propofol can reduce the total amount of propofol used during surgery with general anaesthesia and shorten the spontaneous eye opening time and the postoperative extubation time.
