The present study is a follow up of previous research referring to the synthesis and characterization of new acyl-oximines derivatives with tricyclic structure and their pharmacological activity. The structures of these new compounds were confirmed by NMR spectra, IR spectra and elemental analysis. We continued our research by testing the biological activity of these new compounds. The pharmacological studies of these new O-acyl-oximine derivatives with dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptadienic structure revealed their amitriptyline-like antidepressant activity.
