Several physicochemical methods are proposed for the analysis of some potential antituberculosis derivatives of phenetylbenzoyl thiourea. Spectrophotometric parameters were selected in order to identify the compounds using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods. The thermogravimetric method (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were used to determine the thermal stability of 2-(2-phenethyl)-benzoic acid thioureides and the method's utility was demonstrated.
