Botulinum toxin type A is frequently used for cosmetic purposes, especially for facial wrinkles and hyperhidrosis. There is a variety of types of botulinum toxin available on the Romanian market and there are many doctors from different specialties who perform these procedures. This article aims to offer an overview of these procedures, both from the injectors’ perspective, as well as from the patients’ point of view.
