Abstract:
The new series of coordination transition metal complexes were preparedfrom Schiff base obtained from
sulphadoxineandthiophene-2-carboxaldehyde. The structural investigation of Schiff base and their complexes were
characterized by different instrumental procedures like microanalysis, spectroscopic andthermogravimetric examination. The
integrated Schiff base ligand and transition metal complexes were subjected to antibacterial and antifungal activities. The
studies demonstrated the enhanced activity of metal complexes against reported microbeswhen compared with free ligand.
