Abstract:
This paper aim was to present some new heterocyclic compounds from the class of 1,2,4-triazole-3-thione which have been
synthesized by intramolecular cyclization of the corresponding thiosemicarbazides with ammonia. 4-R-1-
cyanoacetylthiosemicarbazides were obtained by nucleophilic addition of cyanoacetic acid hydrazide to different
isothiocyanates. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by spectral data and elemental analysis..
