Abstract:

A series of 9 compounds with a 2-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl) thiazolyl structure were tested in order to determine their
antimicrobial potential, using a qualitative screening method followed by a quantitative assay in order to determine the
antimicrobial activity. The anti-pathogenic activity was investigated by the study of anti-biofilm activity of the obtained
molecules. The tested substances showed a low to moderate microbicidal activity, but a good anti-biofilm activity.
