Abstract:

The aim of this experimental work was to evaluate the influence of formulation
variables on the characteristics of orodispersible tablets, using a statistical method, in order
to reach a balance between their properties: fast disintegration, convenient hardness and
good palatability. 26 formulations were obtained, according to a D-Optimal experimental
design. The formulation factors were the disintegrate ratio, compression force, sweeteners
ratio and diluents ratio. For the response variables, the tablets were characterized in vitro
