Abstract:
The paper presents the impact of the composition of the dissolution media
(water, hydrochloric acid pH=1.2 and phosphate buffer pH=6.8) on the in vitro release profiles of four immediate release formulations containing 20 mg trimetazidine dihydrochloride. The results suggest that, for quality control purposes, the most discriminatory test conditions are provided by the acidic media.
