Abstract:

The microwave assisted Hantzsch condensation reaction offp-toluenesulfonylthiosemicarbazide with some α-halogenocarbonyl derivatives is described. The biological activity of substituted p-toluenesulfonyl-hydrazinothiazole thus obtained was tested and promising results regarding their anti-inflammatory activity (acute inflammation induced with kaolin 10% model) and analgesic activity (Hot Plate test) are reported.
