Abstract:

The paper presents 15 novel azoderivatives, obtained by the condensation of 2-methyl-N-chloroacetylaniline or 2-ethoxy-N-chloroacetylaniline with 4-(phenylazo) phenols 4’-substituted or not, or with 4-hydroxy-4’-(phenylazo) biphenyls 4”-substituted or not, These new compounds have been characterized using physical methods (UV–Vis, IR, 1H–NMR and Mass Spectra). The molecular modelling of the chemical structures, concerning molecular descriptors for QSPR (Quantitative Structure Property Relationship), was performed with Hyperchem 6.0, MM+ (Molecular Mechanics) method, CODESSA and MOPAC 6.0 soft packages. The phytobiological activity (Triticum test) was determined for the novel azoderivatives.
