Abstract:

The present paper describes the synthesis and characterization of some new 6,11- dihydrodibenzo[b,e]thiepine derivatives. The synthesis was performed in several stages via 11-hydroximino-6,11-dihydrodibenzo[b,e]thiepine, 11-hydroximino-2-methyl-6,11-dihydrodibenzo [b,e]thiepine, respectively.

The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis and spectroscopic (IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C-NMR) data.
