Abstract:

The purpose of the study was to determine the acute toxicity (LD50) on mice as well as to distinguish the main pharmacological actions (analgesic action and local anaesthetic conducting action) of some new compounds from bis-acetanilides class. Pharmaco-toxicological tests were performed on white mice series. The acute toxicity expressed by LD50 ranged between 802 and 964.5 mg/Kg body weight orally administered. The algogenic effect compared to noraminophenazone varied between 72.44% and 78.65%. The local anaesthetic conducting action was moderated for the majority of studied compounds, compared to lidocaine – a structure related compound. One of the compounds presented 82.24% from its action.
