Abstract:

The present paper presents a study made in order to evaluate the lead environment pollution degree in some areas with intense traffic in Tg-Mureş City. Soil and vegetation samples were taken according to the authorized general procedures. From the mineralized samples, lead concentration was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. The results obtained were compared to the reference soil and vegetation samples taken from a mountain area considered unpolluted.
