Abstract:

Dosage forms with conventional release and a short half-life are administered 3 – 4 times per day. In this case, the formulation of some preparations with prolonged release is a useful alternative, widely employed. One method of creating preparations with prolonged release is the microencapsulation of the drug.
We have presented the results of a complex study upon some gelatin microspheres with xantinol nicotinate.
