Abstract:

Knowing the similarity between the structures of several drugs and those of the new synthesized thiourea derived compounds which contain a sulphonamidic group, our purpose was to reveal some pharmacological actions for two of these compounds, conventionally named SA21 and SA24. We investigated diuretic, antiulcerant and anticonvulsant actions. Results are supporting the investigated hypothesis for diuretic and antiulcerant actions, but for anticonvulsant action are necessary supplementary researches. Diuretic effect of SA24 was 40% higher comparing the witness group (p<0.05) in 5 of 8 hour interval when measures have been done. SA21 and SA24 showed antiulcerant action comparing the witness group, the protective effect on non-haemorrhagical ulceration beeing 54.54% for SA24 and 45.25% for SA21. Results are statistically significant (p<0.05).
