Abstract:

The present paper gives an overview of how to calibrate the most commonly used dissolution apparatus and describes typical sources of errors and how to overcome them. Nevertheless, it is important to point out that a close observation of the test is probably the most useful tool for identifying sources of errors in both calibration and routine dissolution testing.
